The Smeg EMC02 Mini Pro espresso machine is designed for making espresso and milk based drinks at home with a higher level of control.It allows you to prepare espresso, cappuccinos and lattes while adjusting key settings to suit your own preferences, rather than relying on fixed programmes.
The machine includes five pre infusion profiles, covering no pre infusion, short, standard, long and progressive, along with three steam intensity levels for milk preparation. Coffee is brewed using a triple thermoblock heating system, which helps reduce warm up time and allows brewing temperature to be adjusted between 90 and 100 degrees. You can choose between automatic or manual extraction, with an LCD shot timer showing extraction time in both modes. A 15 bar pump helps to maintain a consistent pressure during brewing, and the machine is supplied with a full set of accessories for everyday use.
