The Smeg EGF03 with an integrated grinder is designed for people who want a more hands on coffee experience at home. It allows you to prepare espresso and milk based drinks while keeping control over how the coffee is brewed, from grind through to extraction. Fresh beans are ground directly in the machine, helping preserve flavour and aroma without needing separate equipment.
A double thermoblock system allows coffee brewing and steam to be ready quickly, reducing wait time between shots and milk preparation. Espresso can be prepared as a single or double shot, using a 20 bar pump for consistent extraction. The professional 58 mm portafilter is used to help achieve even results, while four selectable brewing temperatures and four pre infusion profiles allow the process to be adjusted to suit different coffees. An integrated pressure gauge provides a clear view of extraction pressure, making it easier to monitor each shot as it runs.
