The Smeg DCF02 filter coffee machine is designed for making filter coffee at home or in an office setting. It is intended for everyday use and allows you to prepare coffee in larger or smaller quantities without much setup.The controls are simple, and the machine is easy to live with day to day.The water tank holds up to 1.4 litres, which is enough for up to 10 cups, and a separate 4 cup option can be used when making less coffee. Aroma intensity can be adjusted to suit personal taste.
Coffee is brewed into a glass carafe with clear cup markings and a heat resistant handle, and the carafe can be cleaned in the dishwasher. A permanent filter is included to reduce waste. The functions include auto start, a clock and timer, a keep warm setting that holds coffee for up to 40 minutes, and automatic shut off once brewing is finished. The machine also allows water hardness to be set, with a descaling alert based on the selected level.
